UPDATES

  • Holiday Closure:

Please note that all University offices will be closed for the holidays beginning Monday, December 23, 2024, and will NOT reopen for standard hours of operation until 8:00 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

    • building and room number
    • date and time of the network issue
    • type of equipment you are using
    • your name and contact information

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change my password?

For directions on how to reset your password, as well as contact information for IT Services, please visit our Service Desk page.

How can I reconnect my device to the IWU Wi-Fi network?

If you are experiencing trouble connecting to the “IllinoisWesleyan” Wi-Fi network, please first ensure that you are correctly entering your NetID (not your full email address) and IWU password credentials into the provided fields. Mac and iPhone users will need to select a certificate or trust the current certificate before they will be approved to connect to the network. For step-by-step directions and additional information about connecting to the Illinois Wesleyan Wi-Fi network, please visit our Wireless Instructions page.

Ever since I updated my password, I have not been able to log in to my.iwu.edu. What should I do?

If you are certain the new password you are entering is correct, the issue affecting your login ability is likely due to tokens of previous login credentials still saved to your browser. To fix this, we recommend that you either clear your browsing, cookies, and cache history for “all time” in your browser’s settings menu, or log in using incognito mode, private mode, or with a guest profile.

Where do I find resources such as MyHousing, Banner Self Service, and Google Suite?

Sign in to your MyIWU Dashboard and use the search bar at the top of the page to quickly find direct links to the resources you need. Your IWU email account, housed in Gmail, can be accessed through the Google Suite tab located on the dashboard.

How do I activate my Illinois Wesleyan Zoom account?

To activate your IWU Zoom account, follow this link and click “Sign In” in the top right corner. Bypass the email and password fields and instead select to sign in with Google. Then, select your Illinois Wesleyan University Google account.

How do I access my Illinois Wesleyan Microsoft Office 365 license?

To download Microsoft Office apps to your device, please follow this link and log in with your IWU email and password. Once logged in, please click "Install and more" in the top right corner and select "Install Microsoft 365 apps." This will direct you to the page where you can then download these apps onto your device.
