The Thorpe Center
Faculty Colloquium Series
The Faculty Colloquium Series was established by the Thorpe Center in the early 2020's
to promote the celebration and sharing of IWU's faculty research, particularly those
showcasing creative and pedogogical scholarship. Traditionally, speakers receive an
honorarium and deliver a 40- to 45-minute talk, followed by a Q&A session and a brief
reception.
Events are typically held in the fall and spring, and proposals are called for twice
during the academic year. Both individual and group research can be submitted for
consideration.
