Major & Minor Requirements
Major Sequence:
A minimum of 11 course units in psychology, including:

- General Psychology (Psychology 100)
- Statistics (Psychology 227)
- Research Methods (Psychology 300)
- Two of the following:
- Learning and Conditioning (Psychology 211)
- Perception and Cognition (Psychology 212)
- Behavioral Neuroscience (Psychology 213)
- Two of the following:
- Abnormal Psychology (Psychology 251)
- Child and Adolescent Development (Psychology 252) or Lifespan Development (Psychology 253)
- Social Psychology (Psychology 259)
- One advanced course in Behavioral, Cognitive, or Neuroscience (Psychology 311-329)
- One advanced course in Clinical, Developmental, or Social (Psychology 351-369)
- One additional psychology seminar, numbered 301-370, 400, or 497
- One additional course in psychology (any psychology course except 101 or 202)
- One psychology course carrying the EXP attribute (does not need to be in addition to above)
Courses outside the department that are required:
- A Philosophy course or History and Systems of Psychology (Psychology 330)
- Foundations of Biology for Non-Majors (Neur 110)
Minor Sequence
Six course units of which at least two are upper division.

- Statistics/methodology course. Can choose from: Psychology 227, Biology 323, Economics 227, Sociology 225, Nursing 385, or Political Science 392
- Two additional Psychology courses numbered 301 or above
