MindWise on Campus: Suicide Prevention for Students is a 30-minute, self-guided online training course.
Developed by the creators of SOS Signs of Suicide, an evidence-based program trusted by thousands - MindWise on Campus uses video and interactive learning to teach students how to ACT (Acknowledge, Care, Tell) if they're worried about themselves or a friend.
Steps for accessing the course:
- Step 1: Set up your account by visiting https://mindwise.

- Step 3: View your Dashboard. Choose MindWise on Campus for Individuals.

What’s Up: A mental health app (Apple Store Link) (Google Play Link) that uses evidence-based therapy methods to help you cope with Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and more. We encourage you to use the negative habit tracker to maintain your good habits and break those that are counterproductive.
Insight Timer: A free meditation and mindfulness app that can help your sleep, mental health, productivity, and spiritual connectivity.
Self-Compassion: A website containing self-compassion research, guided meditations, exercises, mindful self-compassion training, and assessment.
ETR: A non-profit organization committed to improving health outcomes and avenging health equity for youth, families, and communities. We encourage you to sign up for their newsletter, which often provides free mental health resources, trainings, etc.
Seasonal-Affective Disorder: A website containing multiple resources to learn more about managing seasonal-affective disorder and types of treatment.
Help Guide: A private non-for-profit website in affiliation with Harvard Health Publications that provides information on various mental health disorders and related topics.
Psychology Today: An online counselor/therapist database with an option to find therapists in your local city or zip code. Often these counselors/therapists require students to use their insurance to cover the cost of care.
