Memorial Center Event Spaces
The Memorial Center is a student center that houses the largest variety of multi-purpose reservable spaces on campus which include large-scale event spaces, mid-sized meeting rooms, smaller spaces suitable for private meetings or dining, and exhibit spaces. These spaces may be reserved for no charge by Faculty, Staff, and Registered Student Organizations (RSO's) for University-sponsored meetings and events on a first-come, first-served basis. From banquets to performances to fairs to dance parties, Young Main Lounge is transformed to suit the needs of a variety of large-scale events. The wood floors are ready for dancing, and the proximity to the kitchen makes the Young Main Lounge a perfect space to hold a banquet. The occupancy will depend greatly on the layout, but the 5,700 square foot room holds 250 comfortably when using tables or up to 500 lecture-style.
There are many resources available for use in the Main Lounge upon request. They include: an A/V cart with MacMini (please specify if you need a sound cable run to the cart), an Mp3 cord, podiums, microphones, a stage, a baby grand piano, chairs, tables (round, rectangular, or highboy), coat racks, etc. The sound system in the Main Lounge can be combined with or separated from the Joslin Atrium. Please be sure to indicate any layout, sound, and A/V requests when booking through 25Live; your scheduler may require a meeting to review the details of your event. Catering and linens must be arranged through Sodexo.
Young Main Lounge is connected to the Joslin Atrium by four sets of double doors. A group may reserve one room or both of these rooms together. We do not allow both spaces to have separate events occurring at the same time, though we may overlap set-up or take-down times if necessary.

The Joslin Atrium is often used as a reception or a buffet space in combination with the Young Main Lounge. It can also be used as a standalone event or meeting space. The 2,500 square foot space seats a maximum of 128 at tables or 200 lecture-style.
In the Joslin Atrium you may request: an A/V cart with MacMini (please specify if you need internet and/or sound cables run to the cart), an Mp3 cord, podiums, microphones, chairs, tables (round, rectangular, or highboy), coat racks, etc. The sound system in the Joslin Atrium can be combined with or separated from the Young Main Lounge.
