🎵 December 2024 Student Spotlight: Madeline Archer 🎵

We’re thrilled to announce Madeline Archer as our “Student Spotlight” recipient for December 2024! 🌟

Dr. Adriana Ponce shares, “Madeline is a first-year Music Education student who continues to excel as a performer and serves as a role model for her peers. This upcoming concert marks some of her first solos in an ensemble, and it’s inspiring to see her approach it with such professionalism and expertise.”

Ed Risinger, Head of Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion, adds, “Madeline’s positive attitude toward practice and performance, coupled with her thirst for knowledge, is truly inspiring.”

Reflecting on her time at Illinois Wesleyan, Madeline says:
"I chose Illinois Wesleyan not just because of the opportunities I knew I’d have, but because the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt like I was home. Every day, I get that same feeling—especially in the School of Music, surrounded by people who share my passion. I’m so thankful to call Illinois Wesleyan home."
