Looking for a place to stay while interning in the Bloomington-Normal, IL area this summer? We've got you covered! Illinois Wesleyan is offering apartment-style housing for college students
—undergraduate or graduate—working internships in Summer 2025.

 

'25 Program Dates 

Sunday, May 18th - Friday, August 1, 2025

Interns can choose the move-in and move-out that best fits their schedule, and partial months will be prorated.  There is a 30 consecutive night minimum required to stay in our housing.

 

Eligibility

Interns must be actively enrolled as college students (undergraduate or graduate) and have an internship in the Bloomington-Normal area.

 

Pricing 

The early bird rate is $23 per night for applications submitted and fees paid. Any registrations received after April 1st will be charged at $25 per night. (A 30-night minimum stay is required.)

Our spots are currently full, but openings become available regularly. If you'd like to be notified, please complete the application, and we will contact you once we receive it.

 

Application

Process

Our intern housing application is temporarily closed, but our waitlist is now open. After submitting your application, we will contact you once more spots become available to confirm your dates and provide a link to pay the $25 application fee, along with the housing contract to secure your stay with us.

 

Housing

All interns are housed in The Gates at Wesleyan apartments, ocated on Empire Street. Each apartment features four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The nightly rate includes all utilities, parking, and laundry. Each bedroom comes furnished with a bed, desk, and storage space (please bring your own full-sized linens). The apartment also includes a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, dishwasher, and oven. Please note, you will need to bring your own cookware, plates, utensils, towels, soap, and other supplies.
