Indoor Bike Storage
Harriett Fuller Rust House has a storage room that opens up to the mini-quad for use by up to fourteen students at a time. Each of those students each receive a key to the space so they can store their bikes inside and access them any time, day or night, all year long. The bikes are better protected from weather and potential theft than other bikes left at outdoor racks on campus.
The timeline for applications is:
- Between May 15 and July 31, students may submit their names for the following year. If more than fourteen students submit their names, a random drawing will be held in the week following August 1 and all students who signed up will be notified about whether they got in or were put on the wait list.
- Starting August 1, signups will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If space is available, students who sign up will receive a key; if space is not available, students will be added to the wait list.
Once a student has been notified that they can pick up their key, they may keep it until the Friday before the end of May Term. If someone returns their key early, students on the wait list will be offered the space.
