Dr. O'Donoghue graduated from Clark University with a major in Theater. During and after, he worked for the College Light Opera Company in Falmouth, MA as a summer stock technician. After that, he worked in theater on cruise ships for a time as a stage manager and technician. He was also a one-time technical director at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater, MI.
