Anna Corvera regularly teaches ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. She has taught at New York University, Casper College, Millikin University, and Illinois Wesleyan University. She studied dance at The Ailey School and earned her BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois and MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from SUNY Brockport. As a young dancer she performed with the St. Louis MUNY Opera, Six Flags St. Louis, St. Louis Cultural Flamenco Society, and Bolivian Society of St. Louis.
Anna has directed seven dance concerts and one dance film festival. She has choreographed
Urinetown, L'His
Anna has presented at the American College Dance Association, American College Theatre Festival, and multiple state thespian conferences. She has judged dance and cheerleading competitions and has taught at multiple dance studios. Anna is excited to continue her journey at IWU.
