Abigail Hartline is a costume technician and educator with extensive experience in costume construction, shop management, and theatrical wardrobe supervision. She currently serves as the Costume Shop Supervisor at Illinois Wesleyan University, where she mentors students in sewing, costume production, and shop operations for stage productions.

Before starting as the Costume Shop Supervisor at IWU, Abigail worked as Associate Costume Shop Manager at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, supporting managerial operations and costume builds for various repertory productions. She also served in several roles within the entertainment department of Norwegian Cruise Line, including Wardrobe Supervisor, Trainer, and Wardrobe Install Contractor, helping to launch high-profile performances aboard international cruise ships.

Her background includes specialized work in alterations, embroidery, and industrial sewing, as well as positions with Six Flags, Cedar Point Amusement Park, and Martha Graham Dance Company.

Abigail earned her BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology from Kent State University and is currently pursuing her MA in Theatre Studies at Regent University.

Her professional interests include costume shop pedagogy, industrial sewing applications in theatrical settings, and collaborative mentorship in the creative arts
