Mission Statement: As Student Senate's Civic Engagement Commissioner, my goal is to enhance ongoing programs such as Titan Votes and Titan Connect. In addition to this, I hope to collaborate with my Co-Commissioner, Chloe Shapkauski, as well as other registered student organizations in order to create meaningful ties between the IWU and Bloomington-Normal communities through the implementation of civic events and community service initiatives.

Duties: The Civic Engagement Commissioner creates and maintains meaningful ties between IWU students and the surrounding community. The Civic Engagement Commissioner will be responsible for the annual "Do-Good" Speaker as well as support or initiate programs that encourage positive, engaged relationships between Illinois Wesleyan students, faculty, and both the IWU and local communities.
