Parents and Families Experience Changes Too!
New students face many exciting changes upon entering college life, but don't forget that this means changes for parents and families too! When preparing to send a son or daughter, brother or sister, etc. to Illinois Wesleyan we encourage parents and family members to think about:
- How will you/your family be able to cope with not being able to do everything for your student?
- How will you/your family be able to cope with not knowing everything about your student?
- How will you/your family cope with not having your student around as much?
To help facilitate a smooth transition in the fall consider these questions with regard to your family and your student.
