Rising Titan: Family Orientation
Parent and family orientation will occur at Rising Titan (Summer Orientation). This program offers parents, guardians, and adult support persons the opportunity to learn more about their students' upcoming transition to college.
- Up to two parents, guardians or adult support persons are invited to attend Rising Titan (Summer Orientation), as we engage with and without their students during this program.
- During the morning sessions of Rising Titan, you will be with your student, and in the afternoon we will have staff and faculty focus their time on how you transition and support a thriving Titan!
- Registration is required, and is located within the student registration for Rising Titan. We will permit up to two adult family members per student.
- Parents/Guardians/Adult Support Persons are encouraged, but not required to attend Rising Titan with their student.
- You will receive logistics with login details closer to the orientation date.
Experience IWU: Virtual Parent & Family Sessions
We will be recording sessions for extended learning and opportunities for parents and families to get to know resources here at Illinois Wesleyan University. You will receive an email communication in late June about these experiences and opportunities to view. You can also find additional information about Family Orientation in our Parent Resources and the Experience IWU Handouts sections.
We look forward to you joining us on campus! If you have questions that are not addressed in our Frequently Asked Questions, please Contact Us for more information.
