Saturday School

LSK Saturday School

LSK philosophy is based on research findings that show the best time to start learning a second language is during childhood, and that early second language education brings cognitive, academic, social, and cultural advantages to children. The curriculum includes activities that teach language and cultural competency through games, songs, stories, and crafts. Students will be placed in the appropriate class (L1, L2, L3) according to their age, language proficiency, and previous experience.

Children in pre-K (children have to be potty trained to be admitted) through 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn a second language and gain knowledge of the rich cultural traditions and values of the target cultures. Playgroup classes are available for smaller children focusing only on culture and minimal language instruction.

We will offer classes in French, Spanish, and Mandarin for Fall 2024. Registration is now open!
