Chisato Kojima
Assistant Professor
Chisato Kojima earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in linguistics from Indiana University, Bloomington. As an assistant professor and section coordinator of Japanese Studies at IWU, she teaches a basic sequence of Japanese along with linguistics and Japanese culture courses. Her research interests focus on second language phonological acquisition. Specifically, she is interested in how learners process sound contrasts that are not in their first language.
