J. Kline

Dr. Kline is the Dean of the newly constituted College of Fine arts.  His administrative career spans over 25 years, where he served as Chair of Performing Arts, at DeSales University, Chair of Performing Arts and Production Design, at the Savannah College of Art and Design, (where he also founded the Department of Dramatic Writing), Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Eastern New Mexico University, and President of Watkins College of Art.

Prior to his academic service he worked nationally as an actor and director at venues including, The Denver Center Theatre Company, The Maryland Shakespeare Festival, The Folger Theatre, and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.  He also spent three years as Playwright in Residence at Barter Theatre, the State Theatre of Virginia, where he served as dramaturg and had his own work produced nationally and internationally.
