Alumni Share Strategies for Bridging Entrepreneurial Education and Careers at National Summit

High school educators from across the country gathered for a national conference in Chicago earlier this month where a panel that included Illinois Wesleyan alumni shared insights on ways students can be guided through an entrepreneurial education and towards a successful career path.

Student Athletes Set New Record for Academic All-America Selections

Titans have set a new school record for their high achievement in athleticism and academics. Fifteen Illinois Wesleyan University students have been named as Academic All-Americans for the 2024-25 school year, earning 16 recognitions.

The Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball program was one of two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin schools that received Academic Team Honor Roll Special Mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on July 22.

Carle Health

 

Incoming first year student Brandon Draksler volunteers at Carle Health Pekin Hospital, where he recently used his proficiency in Spanish to assist a Spanish-speaking patient. The experience inspired him to declare Spanish as his minor while studying biology at IWU.

John Gelasi '17, director of bands at Stillman Valley High School was named Music Educator of the Year by the Rockford Symphony Orchestra.

 

Lindy Camardella '04, a financial advisor with Equitable Advisors in Arlington Heights, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who due to her distinguished and diverse career that spans over two decades.
