Education
Stephanie L. Moore received her B.S.N. from Bradley University with a minor in Psychology in 1996. In 2006, she earned a Master’s degree in Nursing Systems Administration from Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing.
Biography
Prior to joining the team at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2018, Ms. Moore began her nursing career as a registered nurse at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. During her time at OSF, Ms. Moore worked on the Intermediate Cardiac Care, Telemetry Unit in addition to working as a staff nurse on a Pediatric Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. She was recognized on several occasions for her outstanding patient care. Following her service at OSF, Ms. Moore accepted a position at BroMenn Regional Medical Center where she worked as a Clinical Documentation Specialist in Health Information Management. In 2008, Ms. Moore joined the adjunct faculty at Illinois Wesleyan while she served as Nursing Director in the Emergency Department and Critical Care Services at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.
Honors and Memberships
Ms. Moore is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is board certified as a Nurse Executive with ANCC and serves as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer. Ms. Moore is also on the Board of Directors for the Community Health Care Clinic.
