Inclement Weather

In the event that weather conditions deteriorate during a time when the library is normally open, the University Librarian, with the approval from the Provost Office, will make the decision whether or not to close the library early for the safety of our staff and the campus community. If the Library decides that it will be closing early, signs will be posted on our doors and on the Library’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram). The University Librarian will notify the Office of Communications, Campus Safety, Office of the Dean of Students, and the Office of the Provost. A campus wide email will be sent out by the Office of Communications.

During regular weekday hours, the Library follows university winter weather procedures.
