Echoes Across the Tracks: Life Lessons Through Unexpected Connections by Dave Moravec '84
Tuesday, May 13, 2025 | 7 p.m. CST
Join the IWU Alumni Association as we sit down with keynote speaker, storyteller, entrepreneurial therapist, and accomplished business leader Dave Moravec '84. We'll be discussing his debut novel Echoes Across the Tracks: Life Lessons Through Unexpected Connections, where an encounter with a New Orleans cab driver leads Charlie, a business consultant and author, to hear Echoes Across the Tracks. Expecting a routine flight to O’Hare Airport, Charlie finds himself, instead, drawn into a 20-hour adventure aboard a high-speed Amtrak train covering an amazing 944-mile journey.
Audience members are encouraged to read Echoes Across the Tracks prior to this virtual event and come prepared with questions for the author. IWU has partnered with local bookstore Bobzbay to offer this title at a discounted price. Follow the link above and enter code IWU at checkout for 15% off.
