Affinity Groups and Committees
The Office of Alumni Engagement strives to create numerous ways for alumni to engage with one another, students, and the University to ensure your experience is meaningful. In efforts to do just that, we have various affinity groups and committees that enable opportunities to remain connected with IWU and fellow alumni.
Each affinity group and committee has their own mission and purpose. Leadership from each group and committee reports to the Alumni Association Board of Directors. View the links below to learn more about each group.
- Council for IWU Women
The Council for IWU Women (CFW) give time, talent, and resources to support the personal and professional development of the women of Illinois Wesleyan. - International Alumni Network
Illinois Wesleyan University is proud to recognize our international alumni community via the International Alumni Network (IAN). This community spans many different regions, countries, and cultures. No matter where our alumni live, it is our hope that friendships and memories created at IWU last a lifetime. - Alumni of Color Collective
The Alumni of Color Collective (ACC) provides meaningful opportunities for minority alumni to engage with the Illinois Wesleyan community through social, educational, and service activities. These activities are intended to support diversity and inclusion initiatives among undergraduates at Illinois Wesleyan University. - Pride Alumni Community
The Pride Alumni Community (PAC) welcomes all members of the Illinois Wesleyan University community to join us: alumni, students, faculty, staff, family and friends of the University. Our mission is to connect members of the LGBTQIA+ community, friends and allies to our Alma Mater.
- Wesleyan Fund Committee
The goal of the Wesleyan Fund Committee is to increase participation and revenue in Illinois Wesleyan annual giving programs. - Young Alumni Council
The Young Alumni Council (YAC) is composed of graduates from the last ten years, working together to enrich the lives of current students and recent graduates through programming, social and professional networking, volunteering, and philanthropy.
