Why did you choose Illinois Wesleyan?
Illinois Wesleyan first came on my radar because of their theatre program. I chose
IWU because it is a small campus. (My high school was very small.) I also liked the
gen ed program because it covers a wide variety of subjects and disciplines which
I think makes a person well-rounded.
Tell us about the financial aid process. Was it a factor in your decision?
The merit scholarship I got was very helpful. I really appreciate the Jennings scholarship because I love music. I was worried I might not be able to be involved in music in college. At Illinois Wesleyan, I'm able to be in band and choir.
Tell us about your Illinois Wesleyan experience.
Illinois Wesleyan is a good place to be if you are worried about adjusting to college in general because it is a small campus and it is close. My professors have been really responsive when I've needed help.
